Job summary

Alexander Daniels Finance Recruitment is partnering with a successful manufacturing business to recruit a Finance Business Partner for a newly enhanced role focused on data, ERP systems, reporting automation and manufacturing analytics.

You will transform reporting quality and business insight across Finance, Operations and Commercial teams, developing automated reporting, improving data quality and building robust manufacturing costing models to drive operational performance.

Qualifications

• Experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong costing and manufacturing finance knowledge.
• Proven experience working with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and a passion for reporting and analytics.
• Exposure to Power BI, SQL or similar BI tools would be advantageous.
• Hands-on approach with a willingness to challenge existing processes and improve efficiency.
• The ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insight.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining manufacturing costing models and margin analysis.
• Improving ERP system utilisation and reporting functionality.
• Designing and automating operational and financial reporting.
• Creating dashboards, KPIs and management information to support decision-making.
• Analysing production performance, machine utilisation, labour efficiency and downtime data.
• Identifying opportunities to improve data quality, reporting accuracy and business processes.
• Acting as a key link between Finance, Operations and IT.
• Supporting commercial decision-making through robust financial and operational analysis.
• Driving continuous improvement across systems, processes and reporting frameworks.

Alexander Daniels is partnering with a successful manufacturing business to recruit a Finance Business Partner for a newly enhanced position with a strong focus on data, ERP systems, reporting automation and manufacturing analytics.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, improving processes and creating meaningful reporting that drives operational performance.

Working closely with Finance, Operations and Commercial teams, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the quality of reporting and business insight across the organisation. This is not a traditional management accounting or business partnering role. The successful individual will be heavily involved in developing automated reporting, improving ERP utilisation, enhancing data quality and building robust manufacturing costing models.

The Role
