Job summary

Vitae Financial Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Finance Business Partner for a major manufacturing operation in Royston. The role partners with factory leadership to drive commercial insight, costing, budgeting and month-end reporting.

You will analyse manufacturing costs, product costing, stock, CAPEX and provide financial challenge to improve reporting, controls and performance. Hybrid working with some UK travel.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with manufacturing or operational finance experience.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills.
• Advanced Excel capability.
• Experience with ERP systems; IFS advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on, detail- and big-picture aware.

Finance Business Partner - Factory

Royston | Hybrid Working | Salary: DOE

Vitae Financial Recruitment are currently supporting a successful and growing international manufacturing business with the recruitment of a Finance Business Partner to support its factory and operational finance activities.

This is a broad, commercially focused role for a qualified accountant with manufacturing or operational finance experience, who enjoys working closely with operational teams and using financial insight to drive better business decisions.

You will act as a key finance partner to the manufacturing operation, covering areas including cost control, product costing, stock, CAPEX, budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting. You will also play an important role in identifying performance improvement opportunities and ensuring strong financial control across the operation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Business partnering with factory and operational leadership.
• Analysing manufacturing costs, volumes and performance.

The ideal candidate will have:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Previous manufacturing, factory or operational finance experience.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills.
• Advanced Excel capability.
• Experience with ERP systems; IFS would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A hands-on, curious approach with the ability to understand both the detail and the wider commercial picture.

Based in Royston, the role offers hybrid working and will involve some UK travel, with occasional international travel.
