Job Description
The key duties of this job include:
- Oversee financial monitoring of customer projects throughout their life cycle
- Develop and maintain forecasting systems and models in line with standards
- Support the preparation of forecasts and business plans
- Track and report on opportunity/risk management
- Facilitate cost control and ensure accurate cost apportionment
- Benchmark financial performance between projects
- Support the financial accounting team during the annual audit and preparation of financial statements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop common reporting templates across the business
- Strengthen financial systems and processes to enhance performance
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Continually improve professional competency and financial service provision across the organisation
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working in a busy finance team, with a strong background in financial analysis and modeling
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- ACA Qualification or equivalent
- Excellent analytical skills and a high level of proficiency in Excel
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions and collaborate effectively with both finance and non-finance colleagues
- The ability to prioritise a demanding workload and meet strict deadlines
- Experience in complex financial modeling and analysis
- Knowledge of working in multi-site or large organisations
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous development and improvement.
