Your new company, Hays Accountancy & Finance, is recruiting a Finance Business Partner on behalf of a client that supports individuals and families living with disabilities, autism, and brain injuries. The role is crucial in ensuring the organisation performs effectively and efficiently, complying with all external and internal reporting and compliance requirements. The position will supervise a broad range of functions within the finance department, primarily focusing on management accounts, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as managing staff. Staff development and mentoring are key aspects of this role.
Responsibilities include contributing to Finance Improvement Plans, assisting with grant applications and claims, supporting audits, leading supplier contract reviews and renewals, preparing monthly management accounts, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, providing project management support, ensuring statutory compliance, promoting GDPR and cybersecurity, and staff training and mentorship.
