Job summary

Allianz Management Services Ltd is seeking a Finance Business Partner to provide guidance, analysis and insight on financial matters, partnering with business areas to support goals. The hybrid role is based in Guildford, with consideration for Bournemouth.

You will own month-end processes, lead budgeting, deliver management information, and influence decisions with strong Excel skills and insurance industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance within the insurance industry.
• Up-to-date insurance accounting and reporting knowledge.
• Strong accounting and financial management techniques.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work across levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial management expertise, analysis and insight to inform decision-making.
• Appraisal and support of new opportunities and projects to ensure that all relevant financial considerations are made and appropriate controls are in place.
• Ownership of month-end expense process for relevant area including articulation of how costs allocate to specific P&Ls and explaining the impact of any changes
• Leading the expense budgeting and planning process for relevant business areas.
• Producing accurate and timely financial management information for use within the business area to inform decision-making.
• Ensuring all reporting and accounting is carried out to the required standards and quality, and to the agreed timescales.
• Influencing business decision-making through engagement with key stakeholders.
• Previous experience of working in finance within the insurance industry.
• Up-to-date insurance accounting and reporting knowledge.
• Ability to apply management accounting and financial management techniques to inform business decision-making.
• Strong intellect and the ability to see both the detail and the 'big picture' across the business and data.
• Strong analysis skills including good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to collaborate credibly across all levels in the organisation (including senior management).
• Ability to work under pressure and to achieve deadlines
• Previous experience using SAP / Anaplan is desirebale but not essential

As a Finance Business Partner, you work closely with the relevant business area to provide guidance, analysis and insight on financial matters, providing both recommendations and challenge. Through building relationships and influencing stakeholders, you will provide financial support to facilitate the achievement of the business goals.

This is a hybrid role based in Guildford we would consider a suitable candidate Bournemouth.

Salary Information

Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

About You
