Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting a finance leader to join the Lincoln site, partnering with the Managing Director, Operations and Sales to deliver accurate management and financial reporting. You will lead budgeting, forecasting and KPI development to support site performance and strategic decisions.

You will analyse margins, costs and profitability, identify improvement opportunities and support pricing, investment and business cases, with strong systems capabilities and on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Qualified or QBE accountant with site control experience in manufacturing/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Managing Director, Operations, Sales and senior stakeholders to support business performance.
• Provide clear and insightful analysis of financial and operational performance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Develop and monitor KPIs that support manufacturing performance.
• Analyse margins, costs, productivity and profitability and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support commercial decision-making including pricing, investment and business cases.
• Collaborate with operations to improve cost control and financial performance.
• Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis for strategic decisions.
• Improve quality, accessibility and use of management information.
• Support month-end reporting and explain key variances and trends.
• Help develop systems, processes and controls as the business scales.
• Identify efficiencies and opportunities to improve financial performance.

Description

• Partnering with the Managing Director, Operations, Sales and other senior stakeholders to support business performance.
• Providing clear and insightful analysis of financial and operational performance.
• Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Developing and monitoring KPIs that support business and manufacturing performance.
• Analysing margins, costs, productivity and profitability, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Supporting commercial decision-making, including pricing, investment and business cases.
• Working with operational teams to improve cost control and financial performance.
• Providing financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Improving the quality, accessibility and use of management information.
• Supporting month-end reporting and explaining key variances and trends.
• Helping develop systems, processes and controls as the business continues to scale.
• Playing an active role in identifying efficiencies and opportunities to improve the company's financial performance.

Profile

You will be a Qualified or QBE accountant, preferable with experience of site control within a Manufacturing / Engineering business, long term contract / project accounting. You will have strong systems skills and proven experience partnering with site operations.

You will be comfortable working on site at a modern, Lincoln based site
