Job summary

Michael Page Finance is seeking a qualified or QBE accountant to lead site-level financial control at a Lincoln-based manufacturing site on a long-term contract.

Working with the MD, Operations and Sales, you will deliver accurate management reporting, lead budgeting and forecasting, develop KPIs and provide scenario analysis to inform commercial decisions. You will partner with site teams to drive cost control and value creation.

Qualifications

• Qualified or QBE accountant with site control experience in Manufacturing/Engineering.
• Strong systems skills and collaboration with site operations.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Ability to develop and monitor KPIs and financial performance reports.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with the MD, Operations, Sales and other senior stakeholders to support business performance.
• Providing clear and insightful analysis of financial and operational performance.
• Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Developing and monitoring KPIs that support business and manufacturing performance.
• Analysing margins, costs, productivity and profitability, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Supporting commercial decision-making, including pricing, investment and business cases.
• Working with operational teams to improve cost control and financial performance.
• Providing financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Improving the quality, accessibility and use of management information.
• Supporting month-end reporting and explaining key variances and trends.
• Helping develop systems, processes and controls as the business continues to scale.
• Playing an active role in identifying efficiencies and opportunities to improve the company's financial performance.

Profile

You will be a Qualified or QBE accountant, preferable with experience of site control within a Manufacturing / Engineering business, long term contract / project accounting. You will have strong systems skills and proven experience partnering with site operations.

You will be comfortable working on site at a modern, Lincoln based site
