Job summary

Michael Page Finance is recruiting a senior financial leader for a £15m t/o manufacturing unit in Lincoln. You will partner with the MD, operations, and sales to drive performance through insightful analysis and strong financial planning.

You will own budgeting, forecasting and KPI development, provide detailed management information, support pricing and business cases, and help the site scale with robust controls.

Qualifications

• Qualified or QBE accountant with manufacturing/engineering site control experience.
• Experience in long-term contracts or project accounting.
• Strong systems skills and ability to partner with site operations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Managing Director, Operations, Sales and other senior stakeholders to support business performance.
• Provide clear and insightful analysis of financial and operational performance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Develop and monitor KPIs that support business and manufacturing performance.
• Analyse margins, costs, productivity and profitability, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Support commercial decision-making, including pricing, investment and business cases.
• Work with operational teams to improve cost control and financial performance.
• Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Improve the quality, accessibility and use of management information.
• Support month-end reporting and explain key variances and trends.
• Help develop systems, processes and controls as the business continues to scale.
• Playing an active role in identifying efficiencies and opportunities to improve the company's financial performance.

You will be a Qualified or QBE accountant, preferable with experience of site control within a Manufacturing / Engineering business, long term contract / project accounting. You will have strong systems skills and proven experience partnering with site operations.

You will be comfortable working on site at a modern, Lincoln based site
