Avencia Consulting is recruiting a Finance Business Partner for a Leeds-based, hybrid role in a leading insurer. You will partner with stakeholders to translate financial performance into actionable insights, drive forecasting accuracy, and support strategic decision making.

You will influence reporting improvements, develop management information, and work on AI-enabled finance enhancements. The role offers exposure to a growing finance function with clear progression in a regulated environment.

Finance Business Partner

We're working with a leading global speciality insurer who are looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner into a highly visible and commercially focused role. The Finance team plays a key role in supporting the performance, control and strategic direction of the business. Working collaboratively with leaders and stakeholders across the organisation, the team provides financial reporting, planning, analysis and insight to support well-informed business decisions.

This is an opportunity to join a Finance function that is closely connected to the wider business and focused on continuous improvement. The successful candidate will help strengthen reporting and management information, build effective relationships across functional areas, and contribute to the ongoing development of Finance support within a growing organisation.

Essential:

• Previous Finance Business Partnering experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Strong accounting and finance knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance audiences.
• A proactive, self-sufficient approach.

Highly Desirable:

• Experience within insurance.
• Experience within a regulated financial services environment.
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Power BI, dash boarding or advanced MI experience.Strong data and reporting skills.
• Interest in AI and technology-enabled finance improvements.
