British Business Bank is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join the Finance team in Sheffield ( hybrid with London) and provide budgeting, forecasting and financial planning support. You will partner with various departments, deliver performance reporting and influence decision making through robust financial analysis.
The role requires a qualified accountant, advanced Excel skills and the ability to communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance colleagues.

In this role, you will work as part of the Finance team, partnering with colleagues across the Bank to provide clear, timely and value-adding financial insight. You will support business areas with budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and financial planning, helping leaders understand financial performance, risks and opportunities.
You will build trusted relationships with a range of stakeholders, including finance and non-finance colleagues, and provide constructive challenge and support to help inform decision-making. You will also help ensure financial information is accurate, well understood and suitable for internal and external reporting.
You will be able to demonstrate experience in finance business partnering or a similar finance role, including supporting month-end activity, analysing financial information and presenting insight clearly. You will be at an advanced stage when using Excel or equivalent tools to analyse data, and you will bring a collaborative approach with good attention to detail.
To be successful in this role you will be a qualified accountant with an interest in using financial information to support effective planning, performance management and continuous improvement.
