Axon Moore in Leeds is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to work with senior stakeholders, providing commercial insight and supporting financial and operational performance.

This role blends financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting with strategic business partnering to drive profitability in a dynamic software environment. You will model pricing, bids and contracts, develop business cases for growth, and support long-term planning and reporting improvements.

Formación

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification required.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial planning.
• Strong commercial awareness; experience in software development or IT services is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Improve reporting, dashboards and forecasting processes with finance and ops teams.
• Support acquisition integration and continuous improvement across commercial finance activities.

We’re working with a successful and growing software development business based in Leeds that is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Business Partner to work closely with senior stakeholders, provide commercial insight and support financial and operational performance.

This is a commercially focused role, combining financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering to support strategic decision-making, improve profitability and drive continued business growth within a dynamic technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders across Commercial and wider business functions to support strategic decision-making and improve business performance.
• Lead financial reporting and analysis, identifying risks, opportunities and growth drivers.
• Support pricing, bids, tenders, contract renewals and commercial investments through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
• Develop business cases for strategic initiatives, business growth and operational improvements.
• Deliver budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning aligned with business objectives.
• Analyse revenue, profitability, margins and key commercial drivers, supporting investment appraisals and ROI assessments.
• Improve reporting, dashboards and forecasting processes in collaboration with finance and operational teams.
• Support acquisition integration and continuous improvement across commercial finance activities.

The client is looking for
