SF Recruitment is currently working with a fantastic organisation based in Cheltenham to recruit a Finance Business Partner. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is an integral position within a forward-thinking organisation, involving exposure and vital communication with stakeholders across all levels, ensuring budgets are adhered to.

1. Role Overview: Act as a financial specialist supporting the Financial Controller by providing comprehensive financial and performance management services to one or more groups or services within the organisation.
2. Key Responsibilities: Influence decision-making through the provision of business and expert financial advice. Work independently and proactively, using your initiative to produce accurate, timely, and appropriate monthly financial and performance management information.
3. Financial Management: Calculate accruals, prepayments, and adjustments for the monthly management accounts. Supervise assistant management accountants, overseeing their personal development and performance.
4. Budgeting and Communication: Ensure that monthly financial performance information is communicated to budget holders. Lead the annual budget-setting process for the Directorate, support the production of business cases, and contribute to SLA negotiations. Train and advise budget holders, ensuring controls are in place and SFI's are followed.
