Job Description

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team, reporting to the Financial Planning and Business Partnering Leader. The role involves supporting finance business partnering across multiple functions and locations, with a focus on generating business value through financial analysis and process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in operational, manufacturing, or engineering accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment. Experience with engineering finance and ERP systems like IFS is desirable.

Responsibilities

1. Support design and delivery of finance business partnering across all business units.
2. Drive consistency and collaboration across teams.
3. Provide financial support and guidance to engineering and operations teams.
4. Embed key performance metrics and support budgeting processes.
5. Identify and implement process improvements, including data accuracy and system enhancements.
6. Provide ad hoc analysis and project support as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified or near-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) preferred.
• Experience in operational/manufacturing/engineering finance.
• Strong stakeholder relationship skills.
• Understanding of engineering and operational environments.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, especially IFS (desirable).
• Experience in defence or aerospace sectors is a plus.
