Job summary

SF Partners recruiting a Finance Business Partner in Cannock. The role blends hands-on management accounting with business partnering, working with budget holders and operational leaders to explain financial performance and challenge assumptions.

You will prepare and review weekly and monthly management accounts, complete accruals and balance sheet reconciliations, and provide commentary on performance. Hybrid working available with a £45,000 per annum salary.

Qualifications

• Strong grounding in management accounting.
• Experience analysing financial performance and explaining findings to non-finance colleagues.
• Ability to build relationships and offer constructive challenge to stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
• Part-qualified or qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent status.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review weekly and monthly management accounts.

• Complete accruals, prepayments, provisions and balance sheet reconciliations
• Produce variance analysis, KPIs and clear commentary on performance
• Support annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis for business decisions
• Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve performance and control costs
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns
• Support year-end reporting, audit requirements and improvements to finance processes

About You
