Finance Business Partner

1 day a week in office - South Cambridge

Do you enjoy making numbers work for an organisation? Working closely with board members to help inform and shape strategy? This role will see you working with our senior team at a time of transformative change, leaning on your commercial finance experience to insight, analytics and solutions across a range of initiatives within the organisation. We are an ambitious financial services organisation, unlike any other.

The Role

This position will place you as a key ambassador for the finance function working with many stakeholders across the business, while still remaining hands on, with one direct report and a reporting line in to the Head of Finance your role will see you working closely with the business and the broader finance team. You are joining us at a time of Tech enabled change, with data analytics and budget forecasting solutions projects now kicking off.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic initiatives by offering financial insights and guidance to drive business success
• Support key projects with financial expertise, presenting analyses to senior leadership
• Coordinate and implement the budgeting process and forecast reviews, covering financial performance, balance sheet items, and investment planning
• Collaborate with product and sales teams to enhance financial planning for our offerings
• Oversee capital expenditure tracking and reporting
• Participate in project governance meetings to provide financial assessment of proposed activities
• Provide leadership and development to the Strategic Analyst and Project Accountant
