Job summary

Marks Sattin Ltd. are partnering with a leading FMCG manufacturer to recruit a Finance Business Partner for their Bradford site.

This is a commercially focused role requiring close collaboration with site leadership to drive financial performance and profitability through insightful analysis and robust challenge. You will deliver weekly and periodic reporting, support capex proposals, maintain strong controls and influence strategic decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Experience in manufacturing/FMCG or fast-paced environments is desirable.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to influence operational stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, communication and business partnering skills.

Responsibilities

Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnering with a leading business within the FMCG and food manufacturing sector to recruit a Finance Business Partner for one of their key operational sites in Bradford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused, qualified accountant to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment, working closely with operational leadership to drive financial performance, improve profitability and influence key business decisions.

The Role

As Finance Business Partner, you will act as a trusted partner to site leadership, providing financial insight and commercial challenge to support operational performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with operational managers to drive financial and commercial performance.
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies to improve profitability.
• Delivering weekly and periodic financial reporting, including variance analysis, accruals and prepayments.
• Providing meaningful financial insight to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Supporting capital expenditure proposals, site strategy and business improvement initiatives.
• Maintaining strong financial controls and accurate reporting.

The Ideal Candidate

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Experience within manufacturing, FMCG or a similarly fast-paced environment is desirable.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to challenge and influence operational stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, communication and business partnering skills.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
