Finance Assistant


Burgess Hill, office based

Permanent (Term Time Only) – 30 hours per week

12– 13p.h

We are looking for a detail–oriented Finance Assistant to support a busy Finance/Business team in a dynamic, fast–paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to build on their financial administration experience and contribute to a rewarding cause.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process orders, receipts, invoices, and reconcile financial records
  • Maintain accurate accounts and liaise with suppliers and contractors
  • Support VAT returns
  • Manage petty cash and ensure best value in financial processes
  • Provide general financial admin support and guidance to staff
  • Handle financial queries from suppliers and stakeholders
  • Assist with filing and maintaining electronic records
  • Contribute to improving financial systems and processes
  • Cover reception and general office duties as required
