Job summary

Catalyst is seeking a Finance Assistant to support day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense processing. The role is based in Belfast with a hybrid working arrangement and a 12-month fixed term contract.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in finance administration, strong numerical skills, and experience with Sage 50 or similar ERP systems. Generous benefits include private medical insurance and enhanced parental leave.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in accounts, finance administration or project support.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, expenses or transaction processing.
• Experience using Sage 50 or similar ERP/accounting system.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and organises documentation for project funding claims.
• Prepares draft claims and packs for Project Accountant review.
• Ensures expenditure is supported by invoices and timesheets.
