Job summary

A leading company in digital solutions is seeking a part-time Finance Assistant to manage bookkeeping and financial records. Qualifications

What You’ll Make Happen

  • Manage bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records such as accounts payable, bank reconciliations, fixed asset register and VAT returns.
  • Contribute to administering the payroll and pension schemes to ensure timely and accurate processing of staff wages and contributions.
  • Reconcile financial accounts including bank and credit card statements to guarantee reporting accuracy.
  • Participate in the month-end and annual close process gaining exposure to financial audits and final accounts preparation.
  • Maintain and help improve financial controls to ensure compliance with internal processes and accounting standards.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to the Finance team to help deliver business insights for data-driven decisions.
  • Leverage AI to optimize workflows and team efficiency.

Your Expertise

  • Hands-on experience with cloud accounting software (e.g. FreeAgent, Xero or similar)
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
  • Ability to check your own work and spot mistakes quickly
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation
