Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is partnering with a long-established local business to recruit a Progressive Finance Assistant. This full-time, office-based role offers a clear path to develop in a progressive finance function with strong mentorship.

You will handle sales and purchase ledgers, cash reconciliations, and support month-end processes. Studying towards ACCA/AAT and benefiting from study support, you can build a long-term career in finance in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical skills and high attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and relationship-building.
• Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Process sales ledger transactions and cash receipts with reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile company credit card and petty cash.
• Assist with purchase ledger activities during peak periods.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and assist month-end processes.
• Contribute to production of management accounts as experience grows.
• Support finance process improvements and digitalisation projects.
