Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited is seeking a Finance Assistant on the outskirts of Norwich to join the growing finance team. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and supporting day-to-day financial operations.

This position is open to both full-time and part-time applicants. The successful candidate will work closely with the finance team to ensure timely invoicing, payment allocation, and month-end processes in a well-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, accounts, or credit control is essential.
• Strong IT skills and proficiency with financial systems.
• Must be highly organised and detail oriented.
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues and customers.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider finance team.

Responsibilities

• Raise and process accurate sales invoices.
• Ensure invoices are issued promptly and correctly.
• Maintain and reconcile customer accounts.
• Allocate incoming payments against invoices.
• Monitor aged debt and follow up overdue balances.
• Communicate with customers regarding outstanding payments.
• Post cash receipts and reconcile sales ledger accounts.
• Support month-end reporting and close activities.
• Produce aged debtor reports and ad hoc financial reports.
• Assist with audit requests and collaborate with colleagues across the business.
