Job summary

Go Swag is seeking a Finance Assistant to join the team in a hybrid Glasgow-based role. You will work alongside the Finance Controller to ensure accurate invoicing, supplier and customer transactions, and clean books that reflect activity.

The role supports month-end processes, including journals and reconciliations, and offers training on the company’s systems and merchandising workflows. Part-qualified candidates are welcome, with growth potential as exams progress.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified AAT (Level 3 or above) or ACCA/CIMA, or equivalent accounting experience.
• Ability to handle high volumes of invoices, payments and reconciliations with low error rates.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and accounting software, with ability to trace numbers and explain findings.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, match to orders and documents; resolve supplier queries.
• Raise customer invoices and chase outstanding payments; manage aged debt list.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements and control accounts; flag discrepancies.
