RBH Hospitality Management Ltd in London Docklands is seeking a Finance Assistant on a 5-month maternity cover to support the Accounts team with ledger maintenance, payments, and reporting.

You will reconcile daily transactions, assist with supplier and staff payments, and help maximise efficiency in a fast-paced hotel environment at Crowne Plaza London Docklands.

The role offers exposure to hotel finance operations and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Accurate ledger maintenance and timely payments.
• Support accounts dept to ensure supplier and employee payments.
• Weekly bank reconciliations and cash flow control.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a hotel finance team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Sales/Purchase Ledger to optimise debt collection and cash flow.
• Support accounts dept with prompt supplier and employee payments.
• Control daily revenue and ensure proper allocation under policy.
• Process hotel receipts accurately and resolve discrepancies.
• Adhere to departmental Standards of Performance.
• Reconcile bank accounts on a weekly basis.
• Process staff expenses and approvals within 7 days via EBACs.
• Review outstanding purchase orders and procurement entries.
• Audit incomes and ledgers daily to mitigate risk.
• Upsell and promote RBH products to maximise hotel revenue.
