A growing design and build business in the hospitality sector is seeking a Finance Assistant on a temporary basis. The role involves daily bank reconciliations, managing intercompany transactions, and credit card allocations. Ideal candidates will have experience in the hotel or property management space. The position supports a hybrid working model, requiring 3 days in the office, with a possibility of 5 days during month-end close.

Job description

Immediate need for a Finance Assistant to join a growing design and build business that operate within the hospitality space, initially on a temporary basis.

• Bank reconciliations - Daily reconciliations of all bank accounts. Revenue and Expenditure ensuring all incoming and outcoming payments are cleared daily.
• Credit card reconciliations and allocations
• Ensuring intercompany transactions from inter account transfers are recorded.
• Booking DDs from supplier invoices to expedite the bank reconciliation process.
• Direct Debits - Allocations of DD to the Creditors Ledger
• Credit card and Expenditure - Posting Credit Card payments and personal expenses (Revolut) journals weekly in to ensure all are allocated for monthly reporting.

Our client is ideally looking for someone with experience within the hotel or property management space and offer a hybrid working model 3 days office based. There will be some requirements to come in 5 days during month end close.
