Job summary

Crowcon Detection Instruments Ltd, a Halma plc subsidiary, is hiring a Finance Assistant in a hybrid Abingdon/Didcot role. You will support financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and help ensure a timely month-end close with accurate, insightful data for decision making across the business.

The position offers up to £40,000 per annum, a generous pension, salary sacrifice schemes, hybrid working, 25 days holiday and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Studying towards an accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
• Comfortable with numbers and data analysis.
• Organised with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Good communication across functions and levels.

Responsibilities

• Produce financial reports and identify trends and anomalies.
• Assist with budgets and forecasts; collaborate with managers to test assumptions.
• Support month-end close and provide performance analysis.
• Test and improve reports and financial models to drive efficiency.
• Collaborate with international finance teams as needed.
