Crowcon Detection Instruments Ltd. in Didcot is seeking a Finance Assistant to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and month-end activities.

The role reports to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, assisting with reports, data testing and process improvements to enable timely decision-making across the business. The successful candidate will work across FP&A, Financial Control and International Finance, collaborating with colleagues in the USA, Singapore, Italy and China,

Qualifications

• Studying towards an accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
• Comfortable working with numbers and analysing data
• Problem-solver who enjoys improving processes

Responsibilities

• Produce financial reports used across the business and identify trends
• Support budgets and forecasts with input from managers
• Assist month-end close and performance analysis
• Test and improve reports, systems and financial models to drive efficiency
• Collaborate with international finance teams as needed
