We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Finance Assistant for our Accounting & Finance department in the media sector. The successful candidate will support our team with various financial tasks in our London office.

Client Details

Our client is a large organisation within the media industry, renowned for their attention to detail and commitment to providing superior service to their diverse customer base.

Description

• Perform administrative duties as required.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Generate and issue VAT invoices.
• Process payroll, including pension calculations and submissions.
• Reconcile multiple bank accounts, including factoring accounts.
• Perform credit control.
• Assist in preparing yearly accounts and quarterly VAT returns.
• Generate financial reports and assist with financial analysis using Sage and Excel.
• Resolve customer financial queries promptly, liaising with our sales team.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Profile

Successful candidates should have:

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or related field.
• AAT Level 2 qualification or higher.
• Strong experience with Sage 50 and Excel; familiarity with Insphire is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive and engaged attitude.
