Delaware North UK is hiring a full-time Finance Assistant at Wembley Stadium in Wembley, London. You will manage day-to-day revenue recognition, bank reconciliation, and act as the main financial contact for events.

The role requires 3+ years of finance experience and ongoing accounting qualification, with strong Excel and accounting systems skills. We offer a generous 33-day holiday allowance (including bank holidays) and favourable pension contributions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate documentation for events, acting as the main financial point of contact for the Boxes Guest Portal and RTS system.
  • Coordinate post-event accounting, including invoice preparation, payment processing, and accounts receivable.
  • Maintain accurate financial records through sales ledger cash allocation, payment tracking, daily and monthly bank reconciliations, and processing payments.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, guests, and financial providers to resolve queries and support financial activities.
  • Support financial reporting, prepare profit and loss statements, maintain credit control procedures, and deliver ad hoc projects.

Delaware North UK is hiring a full-time Finance Assistant to join our team at Wembley Stadium in Wembley, London. As a Finance Assistant, you will be managing the day-to-day revenue recognition and bank reconciliation If you are the driven and analytical Accounting Assistant we are looking for, ready to share pro- active analysis and organisation to ensure accurate processes and reporting, take a shot at your career with us.

What will you do?
  • Maintain accurate documentation for events, acting as the main financial point of contact for the development, maintenance, and admin of the Boxes Guest Portal and RTS system
  • Co-ordinate post-event accounting, including invoice preparation, payment processing, and accounts receivable to support positive business revenue
  • Maintain accurate financial records through sales ledger cash allocation, payment tracking, daily and monthly bank reconciliations, and processing payments
  • Build effective relationships with internal teams, guests, and financial providers, promptly resolving queries, and providing accurate information to support financial activities
  • Support financial reporting, prepare profit and loss statements, maintain credit control procedures, and deliver ad hoc projects
  • 3+ years' relevant finance experience
  • Studying towards an accountancy qualification; no degree required
  • Proficiency with computers, particularly Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
  • Skills in written and verbal communication, analysis, attention to detail, prioritisation, and quality focus
Physical requirements
  • Ability to travel and work at Wembley Stadium 5 days per week
