Showroom Work Station in Sheffield is seeking a temporary Finance Assistant to support a busy finance team. The role requires accurate data entry, using Excel, and experience with Xero or similar accounting software. You will handle routine financial tasks with initiative and meet deadlines.

Place of Work: Showroom Work Station, 15 Paternoster Row, Sheffield

We are looking for a temporary Finance Assistant to work flexibly as part of a small but very busy finance team. The successful applicant will also need to have a positive and proactive attitude to work, with a questioning nature, to ensure all tasks are carried out accurately and on a timely basis. Showroom Work Station is an independent cinema located in a converted 1930's art deco building. The venue is home to a four-screen cinema, creative industries business centre, event space, and café bar, in the heart of Sheffield city centre.

Person Specification Essential

• Confidence in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly excel.
• Ability to communicate confidently and appropriately on the telephone, by email and in person.
• Experience of using Xero Accounts, or similar accounting package.
• Qualified to AAT3 or A level maths minimum or proven equivalent experience.
• Demonstrable time management skills, ability to prioritise own workload, to work to deadlines and act on own initiative.
• Proven problem-solving skills/a questioning nature to ensure tasks are carried out correctly.
