The QHotels Collection is seeking a numbers-minded finance assistant at Dunston Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort in Norwich.

You’ll work in a fast-paced finance team, check cash and banking, chase debts, and support payroll, budgeting and forecasting under the Finance Manager.

Qualifications

• Focused attitude and approach.
• Proven ability to diagnose problems with critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and HR information systems.
• Strong organisational skills developed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced finance department to check and reconcile hotel financials.
• Hands-on cash handling, banking checks and debt chasing; address account queries with hotel team.
• Assist Finance Manager with payroll, budgeting and forecasting to build experience.

What will I do?

Working within a fast-paced finance department, ensuring the financial results of the hotel are checked and reconciled. You will be hands on checking the cash and banking, actively chasing debts, working alongside the hotel team to deal with any account queries. Working alongside the Finance Manager to build up your experience and knowledge around payroll, budgeting, and forecasting.
