Job Description

Join a renowned UK furniture retailer known for bold style and high-quality craftsmanship. Based full-time on-site in Chelsea, our head office offers a dynamic environment where creativity meets commercial discipline. We are seeking a motivated individual eager to develop a career in Finance. Prior experience is not necessary, as we will enroll you in an Apprenticeship to achieve an AAT Level 3 Financial qualification after passing your probation.

Please note: Candidates with prior finance experience are not eligible for this apprenticeship.

This role involves supporting daily financial operations, gaining exposure to management accounts, transactional processing, reconciliations, and reporting, working closely with the Finance Manager and team.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing purchase and sales invoices
• Managing and reconciling supplier statements and bank accounts
• Assisting with month-end tasks like accruals, prepayments, and journals
• Supporting management account preparations
• Reconciliation of stock and margins
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Responding to finance-related queries across departments
• Contributing to process improvements

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy
• Comfortable with Excel and other systems
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
