Job summary

A growing national service provider is seeking a Finance Assistant for a part-time, remote role with occasional travel to Gloucester. The successful candidate will support various finance functions including processing invoices and supplier reconciliations, working closely with finance teams. Ideal applicants will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and intermediate Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

  • Ideally an AAT studier.
  • Intermediate Excel skills required (pivot tables/v-lookups).
  • Ability to build rapport with team members.

Our client is a leading and growing national service provider recruiting for a Finance Assistant. A home working role with the occasional requirement to make it into their Gloucester offices, therefore candidates should be located close enough to happily undertake the odd journey. The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller and will work closely with the wider finance/operations teams.

Duties of the role include:

  • Processing of purchase invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Payment batch creation
  • General administration duties relating to the role.
  • Supporting other Finance departments with transnational support
  • Ad-hoc duties as required

To be successful in your application you will need to be highly organised and can work in set deadlines. You will be able to work within a team as well as on your own with a great attention to detail.
Ideally you will be an AAT studier, have intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables/ v-lookups) and the ability to build rapport with both financial and non-financial team members.
