iMultiply is supporting a dynamic, tech-enabled professional services group in their search for a Finance Assistant to join their team based in Glasgow on a permanent basis.

The Role

The Finance Assistant will join a specialist team within the Hotel Accounting division, supporting the delivery of accurate and timely financial information to a portfolio of hotel clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in finance within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing daily financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and supporting month-end reporting. This role will suit someone with a proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and a desire to grow within a finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Daily income audit including revenue and ledger review
Processing and reviewing purchase invoices
Assisting with supplier payment runs and maintaining purchase ledgers
Performing daily bank reconciliations and resolving reconciling items
Managing internal and external financial queries
Supporting the Management Accountant with month-end close and ad hoc duties
Contributing to process improvements and finance administration tasks

The Ideal Candidate

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

Previous experience in transactional finance (AP and bank reconciliation experience desirable)
Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
A proactive, problem-solving approach with high attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong Excel skills and general IT proficiency
Experience with Business Central (desirable)
Hotel sector knowledge (advantageous but not essential)
A desire to develop and progress within a finance role
