Finance

We are looking for a full-time Finance Assistant, on a permanent contract based at our Head Office at Newcastle Business Park.

Job duties and responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Posting cash and allocating receipts on Sage Line 50
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Preparing and reviewing debtors reports to discuss with the MD
  • Proactively chasing aged debtors, by telephone and email
  • Providing statements to clients on a timely basis
  • Reconciling month-end sales to individual branch reports
  • Assisting with other accounting duties, as and when required

The desirable candidate will be:

  • Confident using Sage Line 50
  • Experienced with credit control
  • A self-motivated individual who can work well in a small Accounts team
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines
  • Confident using Microsoft Outlook and Excel
