Contract type: Fixed term until 26 April 2026

We are currently looking for a finance assistant on a Fixed term contract until 26 April 2026.

Location: Birmingham City Council, Bordesley Green Girls School, Bordesley Green Road, Nechells, Birmingham, B9 4TR

Start date: 1 June 2025

Hours per week: 22, Term time only

The role involves supporting the finance team and general administration of the school, with responsibilities for finance and administration functions. The ideal candidate will be reliable, accurate, detail-oriented, and possess:

  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent timekeeping
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Two referees, one of whom should be your current or most recent employer

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Fluency in spoken and written English is an essential requirement for this role.
