Job description

Our client based in Ascot is looking for a positive and proactive Finance Assistant to join their finance team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be looking to continue their studies towards a career as a management accountant, with which the client will be able to assist. You should have some all-round experience in accounts, bookkeeping, and purchase/sales ledger. You will be highly motivated and detail-oriented, taking responsibility for journals, reports, and reconciliation whilst continually identifying areas for improvement.

Job Title: Finance Assistant

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Location: Ascot - office-based, access to a car required

Responsibilities
  1. Sales and purchase invoices
  2. Posting of Journals
  3. Ensuring proficient investigation of unprocessed items
  4. Reconciling Supplier and Bank statements
  5. Other finance tasks as required
  6. Taking calls as required
What we are looking for:
  1. Confident use of Microsoft Excel
  2. Resilience and a positive attitude
  3. Ability to develop and sustain supplier relationships
  4. Excellent numeracy skills
  5. Ability to work under pressure and without supervision
  6. Ability to prioritise and organise own workload
