Job summary

Citi is building a Business Architecture practice to guide transformational IT improvements across Finance. The Vice President will shape the Finance functional architecture, documenting current-state and future-state designs with emphasis on AI and automation.

You'll collaborate with Finance, Shared Services, and data teams to align processes, data, and technology investments with enterprise goals, while guiding engineering on practical applications and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience in an engineering/architecture capacity supporting Finance or related business functions.
• Track record of cross-functional business process improvement and enterprise architecture change.
• Strong communication skills enabling engagement up to senior management level.
• Understanding of AI/ML, GenAI, and agentic automation in Finance use cases.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms and data governance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Document current and future-state business architectures anchored to processes and functions.
• Map data dependencies and align data architecture with finance objectives.
• Coordinate with technical partners to align investments to target state.
• Contribute to architecture principles supporting straight-through processing and accurate financial reporting.
• Support governance and central knowledge repository for Finance Architecture.
• Assess opportunities to embed AI/ML and GenAI within Finance processes.
