Citigroup Inc. seeks a transformative leader to own the AI strategy for the COO Technology portfolio. You will architect a unified approach to GenAI and agentic workflows, building a world-class engineering organization and delivering production-grade AI across critical banking operations.

You will drive governance, platform reuse, and cross-functional collaboration with risk, compliance, and operations to scale AI responsibly.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technology leadership experience in a large-scale organization.
• Deep hands-on Generative AI & LLM engineering expertise with production focus.
• Experience designing multi-agent systems and enterprise-grade AI platforms.
• Full lifecycle AI/ML engineering and MLOps capabilities including monitoring and governance.
• Strong cloud platform experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) and vendor partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Define and own multi-year AI strategy and execution roadmaps for COO Technology.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of production AI solutions in regulated environments.
• Build and scale an AI engineering organization with shared platforms.
• Establish governance, cost models, and regulatory compliance for AI initiatives.
• Partner with CIO/COO to align with business outcomes and budgets.
