Job summary

Actemium M&E Support Office in Birmingham is offering a Finance Apprentice role within our Finance team. This apprenticeship provides hands-on experience across accounts payable, supplier management, and payment processing while studying towards a recognised accounting qualification.

You will work alongside experienced finance professionals and gain exposure to day-to-day operations, with mentoring and development throughout the program to support long-term career progression.

Qualifications

• Planning to undertake, or currently undertaking, an AAT qualification or equivalent Finance Apprenticeship.
• GCSEs in English and Maths grade 4/C or above.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Friendly and approachable with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative.
• Strong organisational and customer service skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist accounts payable and supplier management tasks as part of daily duties.
• Support supplier reconciliations and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Assist with payment processing and BACS runs.
• Support business administration through document creation and filing.
