Job summary

Aramark UK in Leeds is seeking an Office & Finance Assistant to manage reception, office operations and provide finance support. You will be the first point of contact for clients and colleagues, coordinating facilities, post, and supplier relationships while supporting month-end activities.

The role offers study support for the right candidate, exposure across finance areas, and potential to develop a career within finance in a proactive, organised environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, delivering a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience.
  • Manage incoming calls, shared inboxes, and general correspondence for the Leeds office.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post, courier deliveries, and internal distribution.
  • Support the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring a safe, organised working environment.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and supplier relationships, maintaining stock levels.
  • Liaise with building management and external providers on maintenance and facilities.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and support meeting setup as required.
  • Provide finance support including invoice processing, coding, tracking, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with financial processes such as journals, reconciliations, payments, and supporting month-end activities.
  • Support wider finance operations, including accounts receivable, audit preparation, and ad hoc tasks across finance teams.

Job description

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office & Finance Assistant to join our team in Leeds. This role will assume responsibility for the existing reception and office management function and is critical to ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of the office, while also providing essential support to the finance team.

You will act as a first point of contact for clients and colleagues, alongside managing office operations, facilities, and a range of finance support activities. This is an ideal role for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and highly organised, with a genuine interest in developing a career in finance. Study support is available for the right candidate, alongside opportunities to gain exposure across multiple areas of the finance function.

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
