Location: Derbyshire

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 DOE + benefits

As a Finance and Business Support Officer, you'll play a crucial role in both finance and administrative functions. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in a friendly and professional environment.

Perfect for someone who is part-qualified (AAT / ACCA / CIMA) and keen to broaden their experience across finance, business support and light HR administration within a supportive environment.

What the role involves
  • Handling day-to-day finance tasks, including processing supplier invoices, managing staff expenses, and running payment cycles.
  • Keeping ledgers in check, reconciling accounts, and helping out with payroll and timesheet verification.
  • Preparing financial reports on a weekly and monthly basis, and assisting with audits and budget monitoring.
  • Providing business support like organising meetings, taking minutes, liaising with suppliers and customers, and arranging travel when needed.
  • Getting involved in light PA duties for the MD and the Senior Leadership Team, as well as helping with some HR administrative tasks like maintaining records and supporting onboarding.
