Michael Page is seeking a Finance Analyst in Aylesbury to support the Accounting & Finance team. You will review figures on Power BI, prepare reports and provide insights for day-to-day decisions.

Responsibilities include developing dashboards, maintaining data flows, producing stock valuation reporting, and delivering monthly business analysis packs for senior leaders. A permanent role with a salary of £40,000–£43,000 is offered, plus standard benefits.

Formación

• Experience turning financial data into clear information.
• Confidence in preparing financial reports and checking accuracy.
• Strong numerical skills and careful handling of financial information.
• Experience collaborating with colleagues to collect, review and validate data.
• Ability to identify trends and explain variances clearly.
• Excellent Excel and Power BI skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, apps and reporting solutions to support performance and decision-making.
• Manage data flow into Power BI, ensuring reporting accuracy and continuous improvement of analytics tools.
• Produce month-end stock valuation reporting and maintain stock cost data.
• Generate and analyse key financial and commercial reports including cost of sales journals and price variance analysis.
• Prepare insightful monthly business analysis packs and presentations for senior leadership.
• Deliver annual sales order book gap analysis and support sales performance reporting.
• Maintain critical business reporting spreadsheets and data sources.
• Partner with the wider finance team on ad hoc projects and process improvements.
