Job summary

Michael Page seeks a Finance System Reporting Analyst / BI Developer for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Birmingham. You will collaborate with Finance and Operational teams to deliver analytical reports and Tableau dashboards.

You will manage report requests, extract data with SQL and Power Query, ensure data quality, and design SQL queries for recurring and ad hoc reporting. The role requires strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience as a reporting analyst / BI Developer.
• Experience in a professional services organisation or Finance Function.
• Hands-on data warehousing experience (SSMS).
• Strong SQL query writing skills and ability to produce moderately complex queries.
• Experience with Tableau for dashboards and data visualisation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a ticketing system for report requests from stakeholders.
• Extract key management information using SQL and Power Query.
• Assess data quality and reasonableness of information.
• Design, amend and maintain SQL queries for recurring and ad hoc reporting.
• Maintain catalogue of standard reports and identify gaps.
• Support Tableau reporting suite for finance.
• Communicate results of data analysis to stakeholders.
