Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, apps and reporting solutions to support performance and decision-making.
• Manage data flow into Power BI, ensuring reporting accuracy and continuous improvement of analytics tools.
• Produce month-end stock valuation reporting and maintain stock cost data.
• Generate and analyse key financial and commercial reports including cost of sales journals and price variance analysis.
• Prepare insightful monthly business analysis packs and presentations for senior leadership.
• Deliver annual sales order book gap analysis and support sales performance reporting.
• Maintain critical business reporting spreadsheets and data sources.
• Partner with the wider finance team on ad hoc projects and process improvements.

Description

The Finance Analyst responsibilities include:

• Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, apps and reporting solutions to support business performance and decision-making.
• Manage the flow of data into Power BI, ensuring reporting accuracy, integrity and continuous improvement of existing analytics tools.
• Produce month-end stock valuation reporting, maintain stock cost data and prepare branch stock reporting templates.
• Generate and analyse key financial and commercial reports, including cost of sales journals, price variance analysis, order book reporting and product pricing performance.
• Prepare insightful monthly business analysis packs and presentations for senior leadership and executive meetings.
• Deliver annual sales order book gap analysis and support ongoing sales performance reporting.
• Maintain and update critical business reporting spreadsheets and data sources.
• Partner with the wider finance team on ad hoc projects, process improvements and business analysis initiatives.

Profile

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

• Experience of analysing financial data and turning it into clear, useful information.
• Confidence preparing financial reports and checking figures for accuracy.
• Strong numerical skills and a careful approach to handling financial information.
• Experience working with colleagues to collect, review and validate data.
• The ability to identify trends and explain variances in a clear way.
• Excellent Excel & system skills including Power BI knowledge.
