Job summary

Michael Page International Recruitment Limited seeks a Finance Systems & Data Analyst to support the accounting and finance team in Aylesford on a 12-month temporary basis. You will drive data management, system optimisation and interactive BI reporting to inform decision-making.

The role focuses on developing Power BI dashboards, enhancing management information, and collaborating across Finance, IT and external partners to optimise the Acumatica ERP from a finance perspective.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with relevant experience gained within a Finance function.
• Good understanding of management accounting, financial reporting and core accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial datasets.
• Experience producing and improving management information and financial reporting.
• Experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence/reporting tools.
• Confidence working with financial and operational datasets and identifying issues within underlying data.
• Good understanding of ERP systems and how financial information flows through them.
• Experience identifying and implementing reporting or process improvements.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical reporting and analytical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve financial and management reporting across the organisation.
• Design, build and maintain dynamic Power BI dashboards and other BI solutions.
• Turn financial data into clear, meaningful management information.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial performance reporting.
• Identify opportunities to automate data processes and reduce manual spreadsheets.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, IT and external partners on data solutions.
