Job summary

Movianto Bedford is seeking a Finance Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will support the Finance Business Partner, produce weekly and monthly finance packs, and interact with the client to keep them informed of account performance.

The role requires strong Excel skills, analytical ability, and comfort working in a dynamic environment. The position offers a 37.5-hour week, Monday to Friday, with an annual salary of £40,000.

Qualifications

• Responsibilities include supporting the Finance Business Partner with weekly and monthly finance packs.
• Regular interaction with the client to communicate performance of the account.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work in a changing business environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce weekly and monthly finance packs with variance analysis.
• Present finance packs and discuss period performance.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting for the contract.
• Ad-hoc analysis and responses to business requests.
• Report contractual KPIs to the client.
• Use financial analysis to identify cost optimisation and risk mitigation.
• Support month-end and year-end close.
• Collaborate with Government Contracts team.
• Provide ad-hoc support to the wider finance team.
