Job summary

BAE Systems is seeking a Finance Analyst to join the Head Office Finance team in Frimley. You will provide financial support across Head Office Finance, Group Insurable Risk and Legal Compliance, delivering month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and supporting financial control.

You will own balance sheet reconciliations, manage insurance policy accounting, and contribute to MoD reporting. This hybrid role offers a circa £40,000 salary, plus a £1,000 referral bonus, with a closing date

Qualifications

Proficient in advanced Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookups, charts/graphs).
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
Working towards an accounting qualification.
Experience with debits and credits.

Responsibilities

Deliver month-end reporting for Head Office entities with variance analysis.
Own and reconcile key balance sheet accounts and resolve items.
Manage insurance policy accounting and reporting; liaise with Group Insurable Risk.
Handle Bank Guarantee and consultant recharge processes for Legal Compliance.
Support MoD reporting requirements and provide financial insight for decision making.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and forecasting accuracy.
