Job summary

4Recruitment Services, Brent, is seeking a Finance Analyst to deliver financial support across departments and schools, covering annual budgeting, monthly monitoring, statutory reporting, Tax and VAT, Exchequer, and controls. The role will deputise for the Senior Finance Analyst and assist officers with high‑level financial advice.

Qualifications

• Prepare budgets and provide monthly projections with challenge where required.
• Maintain internal controls for financial matters and timely returns.
• Advise on financial viability of projects and policy proposals.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors and support year-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Undertake budget preparation and assist services with projections.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial returns to CIPFA and others.
• Provide high level financial advice and interpretation of regulations.
• Support month-end/year-end closing and asset register upkeep.
