Job summary

BAE Systems is recruiting a Project Accountant to deliver project finance support across the project life cycle at the Broad Oak site. The role focuses on forecasting, budgeting, reporting and governance to enable profitable delivery of customer projects.

The successful candidate will drive financial insights, support bid and lifecycle activities, and contribute to digital reporting initiatives within a cross-functional capability centre. Hybrid on-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Experience of Project Finance and strong understanding of financial forecasting and reporting processes.
• Knowledge of IFRS / GAAP incl. IFRS15 trading principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Project Finance support across the project life cycle for profitability and governance.
• Produce timely insights, budgets, forecasts and performance reporting for decision-makers.
• Drive continuous improvement of project finance processes and digital reporting tools.
• Support system enhancements and data-centric reporting to the business.
