Job summary

Connect2Dorset is seeking an experienced Financial Officer to support a key project at Dorset Innovation Park. The role focuses on reviewing historical financial information, analysing income and expenditure from multiple sources, and developing a financial model and dashboard to provide a clear view of the Park's finances.

You'll work with Dorset Council and stakeholders to rationalise legacy data, improve financial visibility, and support accurate reporting across the commercial estate.

Qualifications

• Experience building financial models and dashboards for complex estates.
• Ability to interpret management information from multiple sources.
• Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Experience with service charge accounting or council accounting systems would help.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a financial model and dashboard for Dorset Innovation Park.
• Review historical expenditure and ensure proper allocation.
• Investigate and reconcile income and expenditure from third-party sources.
• Liaise with Dorset Council on cost codes, budgets, and income.
• Collate and present complex financial information to support reporting.
• Rationalise legacy financial data to improve accuracy.
• Produce management information and financial insights for stakeholders.
